If it’s a body part that’s getting waxed, it’s usually an ingrown hair. This looks like someone’s leg.

I tend to get ingrown hairs after shaving my bikini line (and um...other places lol), so after an episode with infected ingrown hairs with a yeast infection following the antibiotic treatment, I follow shaving with a cream I mix myself: cortisone cream, antibiotic cream, a bit of antifungal cream with a bit of Retin-A cream (first 3 OTC; Retin-A, my Rx). I talked to my doc about this concoction and she approved it.

God... It's so gross.... And yet.... I feel the sympathy and pride for the person going through this. It's sad they have to, but.... Good for them! There's a sort of jubilation I feel for their bravery. Some people would just suffer, due to the embarrassment, but.... I'm half freaked out because of it, and yet.... I wish I had been that brave. Instead I gouged my face because I was ashamed of myself and HAD to deal with it myself. I made myself look stupid because asking for help was.... Embarrassing

Can there be adverse effects on the skin of very pale skin? I've heard that it can permanently discolor very pale skin.

I had several ingrown hairs on my legs after a wax job that I had to have them extracted by a derm. Never again.

I’ve never had a black head on my leg or bikini line, and neither have my sisters? Does a lot of you guys get these too or does it have to do with weight ( just asking), or are they hereditary in these areas?

i feel like i would have used the extractor in the opposite direction. like loop going to the right instead of the left. not a professional by any means but i feel like it would come out easier that way because the pressure would be in the right spot??

Tiny bit of pressure is all they applied, would have came out faster and more contents i belive If they would have actually put real pressure on it.

I really hate those damaging metal tools, all you need is 2 cotton buds and some strategic pressure.
