Office 2013 keeps you connected everywhere

Microsoft's new Office 365 Home Premium is out today and with a redesigned interface, upgrades to all the core apps, and excellent cloud connectivity, you'll be able to work from anywhere.

the presentation mode is called presenter display in Apple Keynote and existing for years there. I use it every time.

they were on Office 2010 for Windows aswell.. biggest improvement is actually the full integration of skydrive, and the social stuff, which let's you share your documents with other office users, without having to mail the file to them. It just appears on their office.

I love how Office for Windows is finally as good as Office for Mac.

I think that is possible. I have no experience with corp licenses, but i believe SharePoint is the product that takes care of that (?). And that is still available

I have been using Office 2013 pre-release for quite some time and, yes, I shall gladly pay for new features ! Nevertheless, I agree that the point of diminising returns was crossed quite some time ago.

from what i have seen it looks like they took office mac 2011 made it touch friendly, and then added the presentation mode for PowerPoint (actually pretty useful). then they charge you a crap load of money for it.

Well it depends on licensing, Softicle dotcom is providing licensing for Office Professional Plus 2013 for $80. (With direct software download). Though I think this is just a promotional thing, I'm not sure if it'll stay that way.

Basically no changes. I think most will stick with 2010.

That only sounds like a good idea. But in reality, the greatest advancements result from competition, not from working together. This is not to say that ideas aren't shared, but nothing drives us to innovate like knowing that the fellow down the street could knock us out of the race at any moment by doing it first. ummm? the presenter view isn't new, in fact, i use it on my mac office 2010 with my iPad all the time, definitely comes in handy though.

i do? it's great to take this to class. So annoying to carry the laptop around all day. and the battery life of a tablet is a plus
