Thank you it worked well I would suggest that if you cannot find the office setup controller, search for "office setup" when you are in the "this PC" screen. It may take a couple of minutes but the "Office Setup" folder will show up. Open the file location and then follow the rest of the video suggestion (ie rename "SETUP" to "SETUPold". Thanks MJ for the great video!

The file was in a different location for my Windows 10 computer. It was in Program Files (x86) instead of Program Files, but the solution worked perfectly and immediately. I have previously looked in several other places for a solution to this problem, and this solution is the only one that actually worked. Thank you!

Thank you so much. And if anyone else needs it - fyi - On my windows 10 64-bit, the location of everything (with those specific folders described here) was not in the regular program files, but in the Program Files (X86). Finally I can skip those 6 more clicks everytime opening MS office stuff :)
