-Dozens of students were riding roughshod over Charlie, for that matter he was feeling down in the dumps.
- I've ever been on an emotional rollercoaster by listening to folk songs that give me the feels, like enthusiasm, sadness, happiness and so on.

As usual, this video is also very helpful in terms of vocabulary. Example: I was over the moon with my B2 first certificate. I have set my sight on taking the next step since then, which is C1 exam.

Much though I wish I were more creative, all of the following sentences are about the exams I'm taking next week.
I'll be over the moon if I get A's in both of them. Otherwise I'll be either down in the dumps or just cheesed off. Now I have a sinking feeling that I'm underprepared, so I'm kind of on edge and might blow a fuse whenever something irritates me. The thought of failing scares the living daylights out of me.

Cambridge dictionary says : we don't use none if we mean no one or nobody .. ( they had a wonderful time and luckily no one was injured .. not none was injured . While Collins dictionary says ( there was none to tell the tale ) which one is correct .. I need an explanation please ..
