I'm sick of people calling this tower an ugly pile of goat shit. I'm sick of people complaining about its design. I'm sick of them going "OMG DIS TOWUR SUX REEBELD DUH TWEN This is the BEST tower I've EVER seen in my entire life! It's like, the greatest modern building that's ever been built in New York! It's as great as London's gherkin building! Yes, I do miss the old WTC, but this is an amazing building! With all it's glory, it's the building of the future of NYC! Anyone who replies back to me saying "but the tower IS a piece of crap! Why can't you see that?!" My response is you don't like this tower still, you're gonna have to deal with it. Sorry, but this great epic tower is here to stay :)

It's mind blowing what actually goes into building a structure that large. And it's pretty cool that they smashed 9 years into 2 minutes. :)

It took me 8 years to realize that was just one photo taken every day.

Awesome. What a privilege to live in a culture that has the capability to recover, design, and construct this marvelous, beyond expectations monumental tribute to the many whose lives were so brutally destroyed. We thank all who did this amazing job,
the concept and construction of the One World Trade Center, a beautiful remembrance . . . . .

As a person who is afraid of heights I got very anxious watching this because all I could think about were the people inside of and operating the cranes!
At the same time I'm very much in awe of them.

In Greece, we have the ancient Parthenon, the building that has stayed up for almost 3000 years.. and we are proud of it. And you guys in USA have this beautiful building and the memorial marbles where so many people lost their lives.. It’s a life goal for me to get the money to go and see the tower and the memorials in real life. This made me tear up. You must be proud! You created a beautiful thing after a disaster

In China this video would be real-time...

Then it would tip over in the last shot.

It's nice how they made something horrible into a beautiful sight.

I wouldn't want to be a worker there and accidentally drop a brick or something... Whoops!

I think its bizarre that before the memorial was built, there was just an entire block of rubble where two giant towers used to be. Can you just imagine like driving by there one day and there’s literally nothing there like I would be so freaked out.

I always wondered how they got the cranes off the top of buildings.

It'll never be the same. New York's skyline has forever changed without the twin towers. May all those who lost their lives Rest In Peace. May all those who served and are serving (men and women) who have given life and limb Rest In Peace and Thank You for your service. United We Stand!

Fascinating to watch! The rising up of this mighty structure successfully replaces the sadness of the collapse with happiness of returning stronger than before! Building up is far more positive than tearing down. Revival at its best!
