What Video About
In this tutorial, I dive into the fascinating world of surface modeling in Plasticity, teaching you how to create an incredible organic object. Alongside the technical guidance, I introduce an exciting development for our learning community: the launch of the Plasticity Accelerator, a monthly membership designed to offer more in-depth and extensive tutorials similar to my paid courses but at a more accessible rate. I explore two membership options, highlighting their benefits and asking for your input to tailor this initiative to your needs. Let's embark on enhancing your 3D modeling skills with Plasticity and take your creativity to the next level.

Glad that you are back, Nikita.
Product modeling is my field and I would really appreciate it if you would make more videos about it. It doesn't have to be anything complicated: I find chips, packaging, cosmetics, chocolate, jewelry and so on interesting. That sounds banal at first, but Plasticity really lacks such tutorials. Moreover its not just about modelling to stuff, but making it usable in production. I think the $27 option is great. And if you then regularly release content, then you will hopefully also earn very good money (I wish you that). Please don't put any pressure on yourself and don't think that you always have to model the most complicated objects. You have a talent for modeling, but I believe that you could overwork yourself in the long term (it sounds easy to you, but these courses surely take a lot of energy). I know this from other areas of my life, so here's a little tip: if this program goes well, you could get someone on board who is just as talented and who can take some of the work off your hands. Then you increase the price (for example to $35) and you share some of the revenue. This way we have more courses and you have less work. In my opinion, it is important that your courses remain just as professional and that you continue to focus on product design content. For me, this is a way to earn more money, as I can complete modeling tasks faster thanks to you. Thanks to your techniques, I have already been able to deliver a few good pieces of work. Lets keep working.

Hey Nikita, I'm a 2D motion graphic designer/illustrator/graphic designer who's been trying to learn 3D modeling for the last few years and I really struggled to make what I wanted in Cinema 4D and blender (I'm used to processes like adobe illustrator so topology was always my biggest hurdle to truly understand in complex curvy elegant shapes) then I found plasticity and it felt like the best software there is for what I want to make but I couldn't quite find the right tutorials to accomplish what I want to learn.

But then I found your channel! You are providing me exactly the right information I need and I can't wait to have some downtime to focus on your paid tutorials. Excited for the monthly subscription. I've had this idea for a 3D modeling project that would turn into real tangible art (3D printing/casting & molding) and the way you teach about how to make these curvy organic shapes with control is exactly what I needed.

Thank you so much for what you're providing. What you're putting out is the final piece to help me realize my 3D art dreams. Keep on going man!

Personally, as I don't have much money, I would spend it on the 27 dollars a month to make sure the tutorials am getting works for what I need it for. But as I would only be able to afford it for a single month, I would need to wait until I make progress on my project enough to where I need to get it; as my cash is very limited

Need to study what a clean surface is in order to accurately replicate the design from the reference picture. Your surface highlights on the crosshairs are crooked, because you are not constructing the transition quite correctly. Try using basic simple shapes as the basis for the primary surfaces to get conical and eleptic curves at the intersection. Also transition curves, you can support at projected geometry of primary surfaces.

Hey Nikita, I really appreciate the information you have shared on Youtube to date. I for one understand you need to make a living! My vote is for 27$ per month. I really hope your efforts pan out for you and having instruction for this outstanding software will only increase its adoption! As a product development professional (for 30 years now) I am glad to see the excitement around making beautiful products!

Nice tutorial. If Plasticity had a decent UI without to remember every single command linked to a keyboard shortcut…probably I would replace Rhinoceros. Probably in 2/3 years Plasticity will rock. And now let’s imagine this bottle made of parametric curves with constraints.

Do a Mech modelling tutorial please. Not many have done it and those who have made it time lapsed.

Why not have tiers? 5 bucks for only access to extra tutorials, 9 a month with discount and 27 a month for someone who wants to have access to everything. You could add voting for new tutorials for members paying 9 and up to make it more enticing.

Awesome tutorial! How would you make it into a solid to 3D print?

Nikit, I want to create a pipe in Plasticity along a curve, so that one end has one cross-section and the other end has another. I know that such a function exists in MOI 3D, but I can't find it in Plasticity. I only know how to assign one profile to the entire pipe. Any ideas?

U should not use photoshop for layouting ur stuff. Use figma. It’s faster, very easy and resolution independent. Just a tip :-)
