Living in Austin, I was able to visit the Chisos store. I was also able to visit Lucchese, Tecova, Cavenders, Boot Barn and Allen Boots. The most comfortable AND best looking boots were, hands down, available at Heritage Boots. If money was no problem Texas Traditions would be my first choice.

I see you post this about a year ago the only thing I don't like about Cheetos is nothing major but I wish they would open up a place to where if you need it your boots resoled because Lucchesi offers it and so does Republic Boot Company I used to buy yeehaw cowboy boots but I can't find them no more so I am looking for a new go to boot company I even have three pair of TECOVAS the last pair I'm very disappointed with the last pair I bought from TECOVAS is the GARRETT I have BOUGHT HELOTES which is now called oil tanned leather and this is what I received from the Republic Boot Company and then I bought a pair of CHISOS #5 NIP TOE and that was tan roughout and looking forward I'm buying the number two square toe in Magic Black you did a very wonderful video enjoyed it very much

They are made in Mexico just like Hondo, tecovas, rujo, cuero, cuadra, hose power. some luccheses and dozens of other cowboy boots made there. Ill take rujo for half the price any day.
