KENNY LOGGINS - “Danger Zone” | Exclusive Acoustic Performance (Live at The Church Studio, 2021)

The first-ever acoustic performance of the Top Gun hit “Danger Zone” by the great Kenny Loggins! "Danger Zone" was composed by Giorgio Moroder, lyrics by Tom Whitlock, and recorded and released by American singer-songwriter Kenny Loggins in 1986 for the Top Gun soundtrack, published by Columbia Records, and later also used in the sequel, Top Gun: Maverick.

The audience enjoyed a wonderful setlist of some of his biggest hits including “The Real Thing,” “I’m Alright," and a beautiful version of "Celebrate Me Home," featuring Grady Nichols on the saxophone. This exclusive acoustic performance is part of The Church Studio Legacy Concert Series.

From Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and Loggins and Messina, Kenny Loggins launched to an exceptional solo career that brought “Meet Me Half Way,” “This Is It,” “I’m Alright,” “Forever,” “Whenever I Call You Friend, “Danny’s Song,” and so many more! Kenny has also been crowned, “King of the Movie Soundtrack” with his hits in Academy Award-nominated movie soundtrack successes such as A Star is Born, Caddyshack, Footloose, and Top Gun. His extraordinary 4-decade career has brought joy to millions of people worldwide. It was an honor hosting him in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the historic The Church Studio for the Legacy Concert Series.
