How To Read Guitar Tabs

In this lesson, Nate Savage will walk you through the basic layout of TAB as well as some of the more common elements you will see. If you are new to TAB this lesson will be great to start getting familiar with TAB and even using TAB to learn some of your favorite songs. It may be slow going at first but the more you work at interpreting TAB the faster you will get at it.

Once you go through this lesson you should find a TAB of a song you want to learn and see if you recognize the elements presented in this lesson. You can also see if you can figure out any new elements on your own. Have fun and feel free to share this with a friend who wants to learn to read TAB.
