Awesome lesson again. Tab is one of those things that is great for learning, but using your ear and transcribing what your ear is telling you cannot be beat IMHO.

I know how to read tabs at an intermediate level. However, I am having trouble playing the guitar without looking at the fretboard. Tell me, how does one play the guitar while reading the tabs and not looking at the fretboard? How is this done? Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

But I still need to know the symbols. I’m doing a piece of music, and there are these symbols which I don’t know what they mean.( Like this: ( But it horizontal)

The other problem I find with tabs is how bad they can be. A lot of them are wrong, and you often have to rely on your ears to tell you if something is right or wrong.

Who ever invented tab need their backside kicked. upside down is not the way you look at another guitar. Bass should be on the top just like your guitar strings.
