Pros:
- (near to) Zero Drop
- Long contact-zone of outsole to ground -> Short Rocker ->
(1) the foot can use it's Natural Tripod for stabilization.
(2) Weight&Impact can be Distributed as defined by Nature to a forefood with spread out toes and Well Positioned Metarsals.
- minimal Toe-Spring
Cons:
- Not a real sickle-shaped last. The toebox is wider than it really need to be.
-> the alignement of the big toe is shifted away from the Sickle-shape. Some Discomfort depending on the individual Last.
- The cushioned Zero Drop Shoe character is Not compensated. It's an negative Drop Shoe and not a Zero Drop. That can overstressing the Achillies, while Training the Plantar Fascia.

The new EGO-Foam may solve an issue of the Lone Peak so far. Premature Loss of Support of the midsole.

Can I use them for everyday use at work. Due to my high arches and bunion nothing fits my feet. I just ordered them hopefully they will be just fine for everyday use.

Thing is: I‘ve heard so often that the All-Weather version is not as nice as the Lone Peak 5 and that the quick drying and drainage keeps them alright dry. But like touring in the autumn/winter when it‘s constantly wet and not as warm it doesn‘t seem too clever to use the not-waterproof version. Sooo would you use them the whole year through?
