IMO it’s not that we “attract” them more than anyone else does. The problem lies in our sense of what is “normal” behavior. If you were raised in a household with NPD and/or BPD parents or caregivers, those behaviors will be family-ar (familiar) to you and you will accept them more readily whereas someone who grew up in a more healthy family would just say NO and GOODBYE right away.

Mom was a Narcissist with several other mental disorders. I would say that I have Narcissistic traits. Yes, I attract Narcissist. Today, I am single and working on me. My mother recently passed away and I honestly don't know who I am now without her. Love you mom.

Me and my mom. She loves me but apparently something so wrong with me she just doesn't want to ever reply back until it's convenient or she needs something

The narc sees your reaction of sadness and anger and your pain as a success on their part, that's exactly what the narc was hoping for and yes it will get worse in time because they have goals, goals to see how much pain you are capable of enduring before you break.
And they make bets w their narc friends on how much this next horrible thing they do to you will affect you. The narcs ultimate "win" is if they can get you to commit suicide. Of course they will never admit to that but it is their goal.
