Triple Play is a favorite tradition here at Missouri Star. Once a month, Jenny, Misty, and Natalie each demonstrate their own, unique spin on a favorite block, technique, or template. In this episode, the talented Doan ladies show off three fabulous new quilts made with the Baby Stars quilt block.

These pretty baby quilts are made with precut layer cake squares and fussy cut panels or yardage. Watch to the end of the tutorial for two bonus projects: A burp cloth and a curved nursing pillow adorned with that sweet little patchwork star.

Oh this is so sweet it almost makes me want to have a baby again ( 52 years old I am babies are 15 and 17.5 ) to much old age and pains but Mrs. Natalie I was wondering how would you go about making a body pillow not the long ones that you can buy at walmart but a c or a s shape kind of one for people like me with arthritis everywhere at the joints. Like making the top part a pillow or space where you can put your arm under your head without your arm going to sleep and waking up soar and stiff. I bet with the talent you all have you could invent it and I'd buy the pattern. Thank you for the video I so look forward to my Mondays and Fridays for these video.

Am I the only one that would rather have the old format back? I like it best when each of the ladies described and tutored us through their selling process please consider bringing that back

I love the baby bib! I'm a pediatric home health nurse. My patient is on a ventilator and drools constantly. We use cloth diapers tucked under his chin but it's bulky. This would be perfect to tuck under his chin and under his head to absorb the secretions. I'm going to use 2 layers of batting into it to help absorb. Thank you for the idea!!

Oh my goodness, Jenny, that brought back so many memories of my mom pulling out the silverware to use as fabric weights when I was a kid in the 70’s. She did it because she was short on pins but had no money for more. She continued to do it because she found the fabric laid flatter and her cutting was more accurate.

First, let me say that all three of you ladies are looking so beautiful. Nat, the hard work (whatever you are doing) is paying off. You look fantastic! This was a great video. I don't have any babies now or in my near future, but these quilts are just so adorable. I will have to make at least one and set it aside for when it's needed. Thanks ladies!
