The DARE response solved my health anxiety, panic attacks, and a lot of my obsessive and negative thoughts.
I owe you my life.
Truly forever grateful

Anyone else have to re-watch and re-watch until it clicks? I've had these going all day long.

Michelle, you are an angel! There are so many videos on Youtube but very few really matter. This 4-part series REALLY matters. I mean, can you imagine these teachings to children on school? That would be gold!

Yes! Your not alone…. And the more you listen to it The more it is in your thoughts in the more it stays in your thoughts the better chance you’ll have to rewire your brain and to have this information be your first thought when you feel anxious

I’ve been watching your stuff on Instagram and it’s superb. Very few can explain and elaborate on this subject.

This is conscious thoughts sensations feelings…How about when these are subconscious? Most anxiety attacks/panic attacks are from the subconscious mind so would like your spin on this? Thanks 🙏🏻

Does this mean obsessing about anxiety itself is a form of resistance and fight?

Dear Michelle, thank you for your description of the dare steps. It works very well, but occasionally an unwanted counter thought might pop up during diffuse of thoughts like this... Oh ok, is it danger or just a thought that makes me uncomfortable... it's just a thought... Or is it?! That secondary doubt can manifest in different ways. For example, is it danger, yes! It's obviously unintentional and logically I understand it's still just a thought, but it makes it that more difficult to diffuse the mental tension.

Clearly pushing against these types of thoughts is not going to help, would you have any tips?!

I know it is false alarm when it suddenly happens, , but i feel like i am gazing at one point only, , i feel unable to switch towards other things though there is no fear

Does this apply to self esteem and relationship anxiety as well?

I noticed when I took two weeks off work due to anxiety, I get more anxious at home. When I’m at work, at least I can keep my mind busy. I drive a lot and I get bad thoughts when I’m far from home. Ever since I had a panic attack while driving, I get anxiety being far from home. I need to beat it

How do you treat severe insomnia associated with panic...
I am able to defuse, and not panic to the symptoms, but i end up exhausted anyway... And it becomes a vicious cycle...

What do you do when you have panic when you are driving????

My panic attacks usually begins with having difficulty breathing, so it’s kinda difficult to defuse that... if only there was a magic bullet..

Michelle, the thoughts just get worse and worse. What can I do?

Sorry but perhaps you might consider changing your speech style. To someone going through GAD right now and wanting to benefit from the information, you come across aggressive rather than understanding and compassionate. Almost militaristic. I guarantee it puts people off listening to you. Tony Robbins is a perfect example of this.
