There is an African proverb....Love is like the misty rain that falls softly...but floods the river.. That proverb reminds me of Geraldine. Fascinating woman and a great interview Silke. Well done.

This segment was a God wink for me @56. Never Married...
At a crossroads to remain hopeful for marriage or possibly assess & "adjust my hope"
Looking forward to reading that book❤🙏❤

I’m about to turn 50. I ended a serious, long-term relationship five years ago and have not found one worthy prospect since, and that’s ok. I believe that if it’s meant to happen again for me, it will. If it won’t, I am ok being alone. Being alone is not overrated when you like yourself. 🌸

Love is love. I truly believe it can happen at any age if you believe that it can. :-) Thank you for your great videos. I really enjoy them.

I wish I had listened to my instinct more often. Would have saved me a lot of pain. Finding a partner is also a numbers game. As someone that’s been all over the country, some areas are more options for meeting other singles. Other areas are a dating wasteland.
You ladies are color coordinated!

Listening to Geraldine reminds me of the book "The Game of Life and How to Play it" by Florence Shinn published in 1925. The concepts are ageless but sadly most aren't even aware (including myself for the longest of time).

After being divorced twice ...my second marriage was only 8mos he had alternate motives...I met a very sweet man 8 years ago who was badly abused his whole life . We had alot of issues in our relationship but because we started out as friends our relationship got better over time..now I'm sitting in the hospital while he is dying of esophagus cancer...this was always my fear...im finally happy with someone and they die...not sure I can ever try again ...maybe just enjoy my grandsons and my animals..this is gut wrenching

Love is overrated. Companionship is what is needed in old age.

Meat Loaf Love by the dashboard lights

Do you love me?
Will you love me forever?
Do you need me?
Will you never leave me?
Will you make me so happy for the rest of my life?
Will you take me away and will you make me your wife?
Do you love me!?
Will you love me forever!?
Do you need me!?
Will you never leave me!?
Will you make me happy for the rest of my life!?
Will you take me away and will you make me your wife!?

Is it possible to find love after 50? No, definitely, no. After 50, you are invisible.
