I do recall watching an episode of American Restoration years ago and that episode had this exact item, the "western express", and Rick Dale actually restores it. From what i remember when watched the episode, i didnt hear any mention from the customer or Rick about if it was bought from the pawn shop or not. In the end, he did his restoration on it and it looked in better shape than when chumlee bought it. I havent seen that episode again but im sure it can be found.
