It can and will do that. The 60kW-h will do it in 5.9 seconds. The 85kW-h performance edition is rated at 4.2 sec 0-60. It's this little thing about 100% torque at 0RPM.

its actually mpge, miles per gallon equivalent. Ans no actually, the signature pack does not add a huge amount to the overall price of the car, which i had thought to be the case as well, but once i calculated everything before my purchase, it came out to only a little more.

I am not trying to pick at the car or anything....but...is it possible to stick a fat second battery in the front trunk to extend the range....I dont see the need for the front trunk and the rear one as well....the further the better.

yes, visually the center display seems a bit awkward and does not integrate too well, but that is strictly visually speaking. since it is an all touch display, and given the numerous features and functions this one does serve it's purpose extremely well. driver centric positioning and more than enough in size of the actual screen, you wouldn't really want a touchscreen interface to be small and unaccessible to a quick input in a car.

I was 18 when this came out... Honestly I didn't even know about it until my hometowns Target and whole foods got electric charging stations in 2018.

Less CO2 emissions. A large powerplant is FAR more efficient than a car engine could ever be.

Also you can put solar panels on your roof, and charge it with that.

For some reason, I thought they where presenting the signature performance, which is advertised as 4.2, and has been recorded at 3.9.

Once you are familiar with this 17' touchscreen and use its split screen capabilities you would not want it any smaller. As a matter of fact if you want it smaller you can blank either half of the screen!

They say they want to make EVs a mainstream car so prices will go down...but the base tesla model s comes with high tech. Yeah BS you could make a base stripped down model that cost $40k and then sales would go up. It's something other automakers don't know. The Prius comes in base, entry level, higher, and top of the line trim levels, that's why they do well when it comes to pricing.

Why can't you guys get the facts right for a change? Performance model does 0-60 in 4.4s claimed / 4.0s confirmed (by Inside Lane). 5.6s is the slower Standard Model! 5.6s and 4.4s is a HUGE difference!
