I was so excited to have black colour ties. Turns out my dentist suggested me to wear the self ligating one 😂😭 Although im only 2 weeks in, i am now more confident to smile without hiding my crowded teeth ! Definitely worth the pain 😁

for ANYONE who gets braces NEVER get hot pink even if it’s ur favorite color. Mine turned orange just from brushing my teeth. And they look very noticeable. If I was u I would get the pearly blue or clear (with power bands) and black look really good to.

Last year I started wearing braces…for the second time around (the first time was during high school in the 80s…yup! I’m tellin’ off my age ..LoL!). I get my braces checked on every 6 weeks and always leave the office with a different color ties. So far, I’ve done all of the colors in a Skittles bag! It drives my family crazy but it’s FuN! The next visit I’ll see if I can have 2 colors. I’m going for my college fraternity’s colors, Blue & White as this would be perfect for our upcoming conference workshops.

I've had my braces bout 8 months now. I was told I have an overbite; so as of last week on Tuesday I now have to wear elastics bands. My ties are now black 🖤 & my bands to mark where I need my elastics are purple 💜
