What's fun about working with Gabbi is that she's not afraid to take on guy songs. And not just any guy songs, but some of the greatest rock voices in all of rock history, including Glenn Hughes, David Coverdale, Bruce Dickinson, Chris Cornell, and, in this case, Ronnie James Dio!

And not just the typical guy songs either. Yes, we've done "Still Of The Night", yes, we've done "Rainbow In The Dark," and many others, but we decided to get a little left of center, and take on a truly epic piece: none other than "Stargazer"!

Not only can Gabbi reach those stratospheric notes effortlessly, she feels them and takes them to places I haven't heard since RJD (RIP maestro). Range, power, emotion, command .... she has all of these and then some. She can paint the word "far" with a broad brush and create such a beautiful dynamic mosaic ... with one word!!!! I don't have the words to express what a beautiful majestic gift Gabbi has - thank you for sharing it, her voice makes our world that much more beautiful. Haven't been this moved since I first time I heard Eruption .... something so elegant, brilliant, dynamic and authentic.
