This session is part of Ingenuity's Trauma-Informed & Healing-Centered Practice Training Program. The program has been designed to aid the arts education sector in understanding, implementing, and advancing healing-centered and trauma-informed principles and competencies within organizational and programmatic practice.

Trauma has context, often with cultural and historical roots. This training will explore the relationship between trauma and culture by considering populations disproportionately impacted by trauma and the protective factors these communities have built to combat trauma. Participants will also learn about the ways power and oppression impact trauma and access to resources.
