I don’t remember this specific island but I would say it is an early art test island as it looks to have a wide range of different assets. Even the terrain looks like an art test to me. With Jc3 we implemented a new 3d-terrain tech that allowed us to create holes through the terrain - like that hole in the mountain. And then there’s the big sloping area that might be a test for erosion.

I really hate how the trailer looks amazing but then the final game looks worse imo

Y'know, that island looks VERY similar to the *"Win An Island"* contest Island that is shown on the box art for the Day One Edition of the game for PS4.

Can’t believe this was 6 months ago but if the island at 2:28 was in the game I feel like it would’ve been a good starting area for the rebels or maybe a bigger and better “Boom island” where you can use different kinds of vehicles
