HOW TO REMOVE A FAN CLUTCH 2 MINUTES!

This is a video tutorial on how to remove a water pump mounted radiator fan!

Its over 90 degrees, and I only have so much time before my patience runs out.
I knew there was a logic behind it, but for some reason, I couldn't make it all the way there.

I just happen to have my gigantic pipe wrench in my tool kit set. I use it just about everyday too!!

I used my chain Vise Grip to wrap around the pulley to prevent it from turning while loosening the fan.

Reading how to remove in 2 minutes made me chuckle due to the time already spent getting the fan shroud (spelling) off of this 2008 Pathfinder. I read there's a way to adjust the clutch mechanism, so this loud noise might lighten up, thank you for clear advice regarding unscrewing the fan itself ! AAA+++

You say in the comments you got your massive pipe wrench at harbor freight, however you neglected to mention the inch size. Is it the Aluminum 36-inch one?

So with the belt off how would you know if your fan is in good working order. Mine moves freely in both directions?

U put the big pipe wrench on and the thin wrench on the same nut??? So is the weight of that huge wrench holding the water pump in place and u hit the thinner wrench? Can't see of the big wrench.
