That titan was once a human one of erens dad comrades who helped from the eldians resistance to any threats by combining their knowledge into one but when zeke the old brother of eren blamed his father theyre group was found and the marleyans caught their act helping the eldians, they are turned into titan including the old man but after that hes dad got saved by eren kruger the old inheritor of attack titan, also the titan that conny faced in the HQ when they rushed there to resupply gases was one of erens dad comrades
