My number one album is Russian Circles ‘Gnosis’. Thanks for the great review Blayne! Other bands to shout out with badass albums this year is… Wiegedood, Wormrot, Chatpile, Father Befouled, Ripped to Shreds, Black Braid, Scarcity, and Lunar Blood.

Lots of good stuff this year. None that edges out everything else by a wide margin for me though. So I think I'm going to just throw some love for BLACKBRAID. Whole album is great but that first song blew my goddamn socks off when I first heard it🔥

The album I have been going back to time and time again is With the Magic of Windfyre Steel by Power Paladin (put on by your very suggestion in metal monthly). Electrified Brain by Municipal Waste is also pretty up there.
