This video is all about how to complete the square and forms part of the playlist on completing the square. I've also added it to GCSE Higher revision.

The question is around level 8 GCSE mathematics:

Solve, leaving your answer in surd form xsquared + 6x + 20 = 0. The first part of the question also asks us to write in the form (x + p)squared + q.

Hi sir, I find your videos very helpful. Could u pliz help m on how to calculate the area bordered by the curve and x and y axes on a quadratic graph by means of counting tiny boxes multiplied by x and y scale. That's just a rough idea of the formula some lecturer taught m but I've forgotten it. There's also a 10 which divides or devided by x and y scales involved, I just can't recall.
