If Bungie Made Halo 4

I wish this was how Halo 4 started. Would've been a much easier transition for older fans to 343 Industries' new art style.

This mod would be really cool if all the gear used by Chief are in the Halo 3 artstyle but then once he makes contact with the Infinity, his armor and weapons change to the Halo 4 artstyle

Someone NEEDS to make a campaign mod ASAP, that has Chief starting the game in his Old Armor, Old Weapons, etc and has him upgrade to the new stuff when he reaches the Infinity.

This is something the new Halos have been missing. The soundtrack in the newer ones have not been bad by any means whatsoever but it really doesn’t have many tracks that make you go “It’s been a long time but I still remember when this exact track played in the game” like the original trilogy did

Just give this mission the Halo 3 Weapons & UNSC vehicles, and the plot holes are fixed.
No need to change the Covenant vehicles & weapons to their Halo 3 counterparts, but I would change the covenant voices to that of Halos 2 & 3.

this would make sense from a lore standpoint, because technically we haven't been on a newer ship with the weapon advancements 4 years later of the Dawns armory. i wish it was the same for the armor too

I'm fairly critical of Halo 4 and 343, but this moment in particular (emerging from the caves to find Requiem's landscapes spread before you) is one of the highlights of the series, IMO

While having nostalgia attached to this game (it was my first Halo experience),
I cannot argue against the awesome dedication these modders have. In hindsight, it would've been cool starting with the old and progressing to the new aesthetic. Hopefully this mod will be fun for PC players despite the fact I'm stuck (like many others) on console.

halo 3 to this day looks extremely nice on high settings. the smooth art style with the emphasis on bloom, it always stood out to me even coming from a 2007 game. everything just blended together nicely, idk how to describe it.
