The northwest region of Iberia still has Celtic culture present

It would be very interesting if you could do some research about the Greeks. It’s interesting that you don’t have any videos at all. Looks to me us it’s not also an easy thing. But I’m pretty sure you will find sometime to make a video!

Not all Celtics living in iberia were celticiberian . Talking about celtic people in iberia without talking about Galicia or northern Portugal, it's not very productive.

My Grandfather immigrated at the age of 14 from a Shark fishing family of Santánder, España ( Spain) - first to New York-on route to Southern Mexico, Tampico, Mexico- to a colony of Spanish settlers there in Tampico, MX where the water is warm. Upon arriving in Mx at 14, he quickly set up a small Shark house, continuing his family's livelihood tradition . Rising up early every morning with a small group of men in a small boat, they fished and set the salted shark to dry on lines ( like clothing lines) every day. He would then pack and sell the dried shark ( jerky) to Mexicans and ship out orders to Japan, China and the world. He would keep many of his profits (which were in the form or gold bars) in a wooden chest. My Grandfather was also very generous -- many times reaching for bars of gold at needy neighbors' requests- Discovering this article many years later in the Independent - makes much sense to me now. Thankyou

80% of my family is redheads and we consider ourselves Galicians. Similar to the word Gaelic in Scotland. We play bagpipes and drink Cider too. No beer because we have a gene that makes Hops taste bitter. The gene is called TAS2R38.

Celtic is more of a cultural denomination than a genetic group.

There are scientific theorie that the celtic culture, or the precursor to celtic culture originated in Spain and spread from there. Concerning the origins of celts nothing is certain. Furthermore, you mentioned Basques, but don't forget the Galicians and Asturians.

If you have hazel eyes you have ancient Iberian ancestry, our hazel eyes apparently evolved in this region.

Please stop portraying the Indo-Europeans/Steppe folk as Germanic looking blonds. They weren't.

I’m a celtiberian. At least my DNA says so I shall big chunks of DNA with some archaeological digs but the craziest thing is that I show like 23% Iberian on MyHeritage and I’m like a fourth generation American.

My grandmother was blonde blue eyed and fair skinned. Could she be Celt Iberian? I’m 60% Spanish parents Puerto Rican.

What are the physical characteristics of celtiberians?

They were no majority. They coexisted with natives even marrying them
