What If Darth Maul Had Killed Palpatine During The Clone Wars?

It is often underappreciated how powerful was during his short rule of Mandalore. Although outmatched in a duel, Maul could have drawn upon the power of the nightsisters or the reinforcement of mandalorians, a plan that very well could have allowed Maul to defeat Palpatine. With Palpatine dead, Dooku would soon meet the same fate, with Mother Talzin possessing his body to regain her strength, just as she attempted in legends. Using the full might of the hutt space, the nightsisters, the mandalorians and the shadow crime syndicate, it wouldnt take long for Maul to convince the cowardly separatist council to make him their new leader. The Republic, leaderless and now facing a far more powerful CIS would likely sue for peace, leaving Maul and his mother in control of a vast part of the galaxy.

I thought Talzin controling Dooku was canon in one of the Clone Wars comics after Maul's duel with Palps. And only became free from her grasp when Palps force lightinged the shit outta Dooku.

Yet Maul let his ego get in the way again wanting to do it himself when he could have had ALL THAT POWER, the mandos, the sisters, talzin as well as his brother Savage opress at his disposal not even sidious would have survived all that... just shows Maul was never meant to be a a sith! He had honour (to a degree) let's be fair here he may have used subtle manipulation but was he really the bad guy? What if Ashoka listened to him and informed the council Maul was a key sidious knew he had to put down himself and knew Maul would be too honourable to use the power he had and rather duel him instead!
Mauls story is one of the most tragic of them all, born into a zabrak community, bullied from an early age until sidious discovered him, then taken from his home, mother with this fucked up looking Halloween parody man to be torture'trained into am assassin the rest of your life... all you know is hate.

Actually, Darth maul would have been falling to the hands of a Jedi built death Star to kill Darth maul because the Jedi had enough kyber crystals to build a starkiller base or deathstar why didn't they build a death Star? Why didn't the Jedi build the death Star to kill general grievous

Idk if maul would be able to beat the republic the war would drag on for a few more years but a large reason the republic struggled was bc of Palpatine puppeting the cis and republic
