I just thought about that and I think it would be interesting.
So after Obiwan ”kills” Maul, Palpatine gets so angry (do what your want with that info) (If He kills obiwan or something)

Palpatine then starts to get close to Anakin and tries to replace Maul, but then when Palpatine hears of Mauls return he quickly try to offer Maul his place as an apprentice back.

I actually thinks this would be interesting. 👀

4:02 - I feel like Maul would have instead used Sidious' death against the Republic, claiming that he alone killed the Sith Lord behind the clone wars and that the Jedi too blind and incompetent to figure Palpatine's true identity as a Sith Lord. He'd need to prove this though, and would probably use lies and subterfuge to sway the people of the Republic to his cause.

Here are my what if day 25 of asking one of these:

1) What if the Sith Empire Returned during the High Republic era?

2) What if Din Djaran and Bo-Katan fell in love during Mando season 3 and chose to become joint rulers of Mandalor

3) What if Han Solo was rescued from Jabba but Leia was unable to kill Jabba and was left behind whilst the others escaped meaning she remained a slave?

4) What if Padme was Enslaved during the Clone wars?

5) What if Cal and Merrin had a Daughter (for the fact it's a Jedi Nightsister hybrid)?

6) What if Avar Kriss and Elzar Mann had a child?

7) What if Padme was forced to marry for the Republic during the clone wars?

8) What if Jyn Erso survived Rogue one and went on to meet and fall in love with Luke Skywalker?

9) What if Luke and Leia found out they were siblings earlier and both became Jedi?

10) What if Leia finished her Jedi training?

11) what if Luke and Leia weren’t separated at birth?

12) what if Ahsoka found Shin Hati before Baylon Skoll?

13) what if the Ones survived?

14) what if the Daughter survived but lost her powers and became a Jedi?

15) what if Luke had a daughter during the sequels or what if Rey was Luke's daughter? (tie this in to suggestion 8 if you want)

16) what if Kylo Ren didn’t destroy Luke’s Jedi order and so the Resistance had the Jedi during their war with the First Order?

Honestly, I think Dooku would be fairly receptive to Padme's peace outreach as Chancellor in this scenario...

With Sidious gone, Dooku now has to genuinely try to win the Clone Wars. Thats quite doable for the CIS, but a bit of breathing room to reorganize forces for offensives would go a long way. Taking a ceasefire deal would facilitate stronger war production and future offensive preparation (plus buy time for the Death Star project Dooku now has full control of) while allowing him to divert Grievous and his elite units to countering Maul (the more imminent potential threat).

Imaginably, Dooku accepts a ceasefire deal here and then at some later point in history manufactures and excuse for continuing the war on his own terms if follow up negotiations don't massively favour the CIS. Dooku was not like Sidious, in that while he did want serious galactic reform, he wasn't personally super interested in being the Supreme Ruler of the Galaxy as a whole.

what if Vokara Che became a mentor to anakin as anakin was being treated for bullying and trauma from being a slave.

What if anakin was piloting before attack of the clones and sensed ventress fall to the darkside as her master died and took his ship to the planet to investigate. Perhaps starting a romance as they are very similar in their stories.
Also what if ahsoka taught ben skywalker as she saw him as history repeating itself.
What if anakin was a jedi watchmen or wayfinder.
What if anakin went with kenobi to face maul and savage instead of adi gallia.
What if anakin fell in love with luminara or your own version of aayla secura romance.

What if oppo rancis trained anakin.
What if anakin met and fell in love with ventress just before the clone wars just after her masters death.
What if anakin became a jedi sentinel like a watchmen or one of those who find younglings.
What if evan piel became a mentor or second master to anakin.
Or anakin became a healer either before or after his mother death could be related to his friendship with offee or alternatively what if he was trained by tra sa who taught windu and actually did not forbid attachment as shown by her relationship with tholme, they could become like a pseudo parents to anakin and train him away from the temple in azati martial arts and from trasa the living force as she is a plant lady so imagine anakin controlling plant life.
