Vexing an Ex

The plaintiff says the defendant is his ex-wife. They remained friendly, so he loaned her some money when things were tight. She hasn’t repaid him, though, so he’s suing. The defendant says she had an agreement to work off the debt by driving her ex and his girlfriend to appointments. She claims she’s paid up.
