I must be an anomaly. My girlfirend is smarter academically (also a higher IQ) and has had a successful business for 20yrs. She met me at 37 (I was 35) I had nothing and had lost everything including my business. Now the tables have turned where my group of companies is taking off! She always believed in me and has supported me through everything. It took 7 years of hard work. We now have two beautiful children, we don't want to get married (it's not our thing) and the harder I work the less she has to do. Now it's my turn to push the 20yr business plan so she can focus more on our children and being a mum. She's an incredible women. It's not been easy but I thank god for finding her 🙏🇬🇧💙.

I have an IQ of 148, graduated from college in two years, was an elite athlete and as soon was accepted to a PhD program my brilliant nuclear engineer husband had an affair and left. Even though he was smarter than I the better I was at anything he’d be threatened. My husband now is not as smart as my ex but he’s much better with people and a ton more caring. He’s not threatened by anything I do. In fact he encourages me in anything I want to do. I’m grateful we met!❤️🙌🤩

It’s helpful to know. For so many years I couldn’t understand why I didn’t fit in. I struggled with dating because I was always bored with the logic of most and their inability to articulate things that mattered. I was homeschooled/unschooled, spent hours listening to debates or studying statistics. I felt like no one wanted to engage in meaningful conversation and have always struggled with feeling very alone. I finally had a boyfriend that asked me to take an IQ test. He thought it would help me. So he said, but after we took the test and I scored the same as him (which was very high). He confessed that he knew my IQ was high and that he just wanted to be sure it wasn’t higher than his. Needless to say we are no longer together. Small talk grinds my bones, though I understand it’s necessary to get to the good stuff. I finally took a test and understood why I thought so different. It’s helpful
It’s not necessary though to talk about it all the time. However, I read someone on here say that “if you really have a high IQ you won’t need to brag about it”. That is coming from the assumption that the higher your IQ the less likely you are to suffer from sins common to man. Pride is a snake that bites us all.

I was about 80% less likely to get married than the average good girlie. But thankfully, I met a man who liked some challenge and is intelligent, but differently. I needed that. Going on two years of marriage now.

I have an IQ of 69420, went to harvard back when I was still a sperm cell. When I became a full grown adult at the age of 5, I married a man with 10 iq. He even forgors to breathe sometimes and needed my help to remind him to breath. But I still love him so much ❤️ best husband ever 😍

My IQ was deemed to be 150, I have been told by men in the past that I am intimidating. My husband thankfully supports me, but yes I did get married late, not until my 40’s. I have also been told in work to pretend I don’t know things, because I intimidate colleagues. I have said no, I am tired of dumbing myself down to fit in.

This is so true, my daughter graduated valedictorian of her college graduating class, she didn't marry until she was 29, she met a guy with 2 engineering degrees and a higher IQ my son married right out of college to a wonderful young woman who graduated with honors ....
My husband is a genius, he's never been given this title, but there's literally nothing this man cannot do ... well except dance he can't dance 😄 ... but he'll dance with me
