The headphone jack folks remind of those that said getting rid of the disc drive on the old iMac was a bad idea. Bluetooth is on the way. As a musician I'd love it if they improved the preamps and pushed audio up to 24-bit/96k but looks like lo-fi mp3's through Bluetooth are here to stay.

I just want to be able to hold the phone comfortably. I also want to be able to download ringtones directly from apps like Zedge. Wouldn't hurt to have a better appetite showing us new apps constantly. Tired of see the same ones

I do not believe the headphone jack is disappearing.... I Can see it being placed together with the lighting port... Not fused, more like the jack is adjacent to the lightning port, or within.
