I have seen so many parents cover for their awful lying kids.
My sister ran a day camp for teen girls. One day a girl showed up totally plastered. My sister called her parents to tell them that the girl was drunk and they needed to pick her up.
Her parents showed up and screamed like crazy that she was not drunk, just sick and how dare my sister accuse her like that.
Everyone could smell the alcohol on her breath and a few girls had watched her drinking.
But no, the parents insisted that their little princess would never do that and everyone was a bunch of liars. Of course the girl played it up, crying like a baby, and the parents kept consoling her and they took her away, still yelling that everyone was a bunch of liars.
My sister was just glad that they took her away.
