At this point, anything that's happening in the background of the intro is considered normal to me.

Millenaire is one of the best freaking mods ever made dude. Watching a village build itself up from nothing over time as your character learns their language is just incredible, and really gives the world a much needed sense of being lived in.
I've straight up played worlds where my whole goal was playing a diplomat, traveling around village to village trying to keep wars from break out. It was amazing.

Millenaire doesn't replace normal minecraft villages, it just spawns them along side them. You have the still manually disable village spawning in the customization settings for world creation if you don't want them.

I might have gone a tiny bit further in the description of the Millionaire mod... Your description basically said it added structures and changed villager textures. It's actually a larger base mod you would build a pack around. You need to find one of these villages, and fill requests for materials, and the villagers will build new structures with them, and upgrade the ones already there. They had village raiders you needed to protect them from long before Pillagers existed.

The waypoints mod is a fantastic addition to villages - Especially when paired with the naming mod.

I saw a really good village mod called “Guards” I think. It adds villagers that will protect the village
