I guess maybe noob is a bit unfair for the first build

All these are my builds. Background terrain is made using WorldMachine and WorldPainter

You can see the building of this if you go to my tik tok: smarfmc

This just looks like varying levels of time spent by an expert.

Good builder who understands every fundamental:
Good builder who then adds another layer which adds slightly difficulty and more time than anything to the project:
Good builder who then very likely used world edit tools to expand further upon their original idea keeping all that they already know, but using other tools to duplicate a few equally well built houses over and over again to fill out space, the building in that case is what's cool, the city planning and use of that space is what's more impressive:

Friends, it's not hard when you start breaking it down to become that first step of builder, instead of always saying "I can never get to that point I'm still way worse than what this person calls a noob build..."
Start saying, "I wonder how they got to that point?"
Start with a basic shape that you already know how to build, then add depth, texture, and "interest" to that shape (interest being things that stand out or fill in empty space where you don't want any), once you learn to add those fundamentals to a build you can start experimenting with what themes, styles, layouts, other shapes, really anything-- that you like and want to learn better.
Again that second level build is just adding another story and expanding on the basics slightly but expanding on the time it takes a bit more, the third one is a real time sink that you can learn to use other tools to speed up instead of building every one of those very similar homes by hand, but don't focus on that starting out.
Start and let things flow, start and let things like other videos guide you while you learn to make something look nicer, then add to it, learn when you have too much as well, and if you break it down you WILL start making better and better builds that *_you_* love.
