idk if its just me, but living with a village and giving them a better home makes it all worth it to me when i play this game. ive played since 2009 and this just gives the game a whole different layer of fun i hope they will continue to update the villagers in future releases

The village I found in my game is partially up on a tall mesa, from which villagers and animals keep falling and injuring themselves. I've been converting it to be OSHA-compliant with plenty of low-rise staircases, and safety rails around all ledges.

In my base, I just created a whole villager hotel, with a basement where they can work, gardens and crops all around, rooms, ect... I just imagine that poor Nitwitt I left alone in the village...
Also the villagers got busy, I have like 5 baby rn.

I like how Minecraft gradually turns into a strategy once you find a beautiful village and decide to settle in it. We need an even more in-depth system for interacting with villagers like quests, random situations, and the like. Well, and most importantly, a refresher course for the villagers so that they FINALLY learn how to avoid obstacles correctly, do not run into walls and do not use the roofs of houses instead of paths. Villages in Minecraft have always been something special for me, and I was immensely happy when update 1.14 came out, but I think that the developers have not yet implemented even half of the functionality that can be built around villages, they deserve more attention :)

I love the village city. How you get a modern look with relatively common starter materials

I actually added a Nether portal near my village then added 2 iron golems that are named as “Guards” then kind off added a security wall around it and added a sign that says “Danger! NO VILLAGERS ALLOWED”
I also added a huge castle that took alot of time to build especially with it’s details.
