I have chain fished myself a shiny Corphish today and I'm currently on a 65 chain of Ponyta using the dexnav. This is a true test of patience...

You should do soft reset because pokemon obtained like this are more valuable

Just so people know when you accidentally scare the Pokémon ur dex naving for the chain doesn't matter at all
