Nice that you got a Female one. First pokemon I chain fished was a Feebas too. It was insane because I got it on like the 6th cast. I'll be grabbing a few more to wonder trade on Christmas!

I got a shiny Magikarp while fishing (The first Pokemon I encountered at that time, without chains) for Feebas. It was quite surprising

I dont want the feebas but I think you should soft-reset for a shiny legendary or shiny starter

Used the method and got a shiny Wailmer at a chain of 2. No not 20 but 2. I was really surprised.

Chain fishing (on pokemon X) was fast for me it only took about 15 minutes for me to get a shiny
