Thank you Alyson for keeping it straight and telling your story clearly and consicely as possible. Instead of dropping subliminals or names and making outrageous accusations.

This is SUCH a great series. It's got to be so difficult to actually take off your guard. Also I hate the whole "Oh celebrities signed up for being harassed. If they don't want it, then don't take the job!" like it's somehow excusable for people to harass someone simply because of the job they have. It's interesting because finding out about how Disney literally controlled the life of their starts so closely, and how Hollywood in general does that. Finding out the stories about the actors who had to have fake marriages to hide their true relationships is just sad.

I really love this!! Can we talk about paparazzi? After reading both Brittany spears and prince Harry's memoires...it appears there definitely needs to be a conversation around the devastating affects that has.

This makes me think of so many people's accounts of meeting celebrities. The celebrities are usually described as either very friendly and graceful, class acts, or very standoffish and cold. Maybe the celebrities who are considered standoffish and cold just have strong boundaries.

You are doing great work. ❤
Older child actors like Shirley temple, Judy Garland, Danny Bonaduchi, and Corey Feldman would be internally great full.

What I truly cannot imagine is EVERYONE having access to you. This highlight got me thinking about how your work may even need to expand from Hollywood to Fan Base. Almost like the norms you created when entering the anonymous zoom meeting with your peers. Even though it should go without saying that we all have a basic human right for personal space and boundaries this is not how society views celebrities. Obviously, it is a utopia world where somehow every parent or guardian has some kind of guideline they pass onto their children about how to behave in those situations... but I think it's our job too as supporters of your work to open up this conversation with friends, family, kids in our families and communities to help work toward a world where personal space and boundary setting will not be so frowned upon. You should not have to feel like a bad person because you want to walk to your car in peace, but right now that's the societal expectation. Especially as a child that should not be the norm! It's like we need 2 guide books, one for the child star and parent, and one for the public. However, the more I listen to your experience and your analysis of child stardom, I wonder if we should even permit child acting at all. Lot's of word vomit there, but this one really got me thinking. I think this conversation on boundaries is so important even in the bigger picture outside of stardom, but like you said it's essential to leave those other factors at the door when we are talking about a specific group of people and their experience.

She speaks so eloquently. The words she uses are incredibly. I cant tell if shes reading off something she already wrote. Or if its off the of her head. Either way, its her words! And theyre beautiful!

You should look into Jessica Steinrock, she is an intimacy coordinator who works with helping boundaries for actors and I think y'all could share some good info.

This needs to have more views. People need perspective and honesty.

Alyson I applaud you for doing something that should had been done so long ago. I wish nothing but the best for what you doing. I hope it comes to life and all the implementations gets reinforced in this field of career. Whoever was in that zoom call I applaud them too because it takes bravery to speak up. I love how you were able to bring a safe and trust space for your peers to open up and for us the viewers/consumers are able to see the other side of the coin. To me this not only shows the vulnerable side of this industry but allows people to understand you’re human and the perfect polish image does more damage than good. Like you said if you don’t know where you start or where you end how a healthy boundary could be created.
I love what you doing here and I hope the hard work pays off. It’s needed and one thing I can say for sure you got my support all the way. Stay Golden!

@Alyson Stoner yay a new video. It has been awhile. I love your series you are creating. You are obviously doing something right bc you leave me wanting to hear more after hearing just enough. Bravo!! So many unanswered questions to thoughts of the kid actors that my niece and I ( for about 3 yrs we performed together, it truly bonded us) became friends with AND their FAMILY. These literal "acting families" were a whole new breed of dysfunctional YET loving. Again thank you for your content Alyson.

Do you check your comments? You should interview Corey Feldman. Also please speak about the child predators still monitoring and producing children shows.
