That’s terrible. What’s worse is, Daniella was already like 21. Making her no longer a minor. Which means Dan could could have tried doing anything to her without her fear getting busted for bullying a minor.

Y'all saying she was "playing" the annoying crazy role, that's why the scenes were like this. But that's not the point. The lotion scene, the lickings, and many more scenes were creepy which we as a kid never realized but creepy adults like Dan kept enjoying. It's not about the character it's about the bizarre sexualization of that young girl in a kid's show, without making obvious (for obvious reasons).

I just watched an episode of Victorious on Netflix not too long ago. Looking back at what Daniella Monet's character "Trina Vega" went through on the show really mortifies me a lot. Her character was an outcast and gets picked on and rejected by everyone in the series. It breaks my heart that all of her scenes are so embarrassing and everyone likes her sister over her. Dan Schneider was a nightmare so I feel her pain. 💯

Trina was actually my favorite character on Victorious. Daniella Monet's acting was always so expressive and so funny! Plus she's pretty! I always thought that Daniella Monet was super pretty, so the role of Trina never made me think less of her in that regard. I never thought of her as unintelligent, either. To play a character as strange as Trina, an actress has to be smart enough to make the acting feel believable.

Just cause she’s an adult it doesn’t make it right. It’s still pervy to be forced to do sexual scenes when she never have a warning beforehand. I may have never read the contracts but Nickelodeon was literally for children I’m positive they never said anything about sexual innuendos/jokes or else there would be a lawsuit.

Some of these points I agree with, like the ones regarding Dan's nature and Daniella feeling uncomfortable. But the majority of these points are just plain nonsense. She's playing a character with those specific traits, it has nothing to do with Daniella as a person

I loved Daniella in the Cosmo&Wanda Movies as Trudy. Because she was shown as this used to be crazy girl which now is gorgeous & caring and her acting too wss soo great ❤️❤️

She was actually 21 years old when victorious season 1 started in 2010. So, she's not a Teenager with 21. Now she's 35

Okay; I don’t think that ANYONE would think less of Daniella because of the way Trina was portrayed. People understand there’s a difference between the actor and the character they’re playing. If anything, playing out Trina’s bizarre character traits like her extreme overconfidence and lack of talent are just a proof of Daniella’s skills as an actress.

While it’s true that Daniella called out Nickelodeon for the overly sexualised content, you are claiming that she’s gotten dozens of traumas from playing Trina. That’s something she never claimed. In 2019, she did a couple of Victorious related for NickRewind, responding to Trina’s weird scenes.
and I highly doubt she would have done that if she was so traumatised by playing Trina like you claim she is.

Yeah, Trina’s character is weird but thats with a reason. It’s so that we, the audience, realize how “normal” Tori is. That’s the whole premise of the show. A very normal girl that we can all identify with, discovering she has a lot of talent and going to this school full of weirdo’s. Tori’s “normalnes” is the window through which we see this wacky school.

Furthermore, you’re claiming Trina’s character exists solely for other to make fun of but you’re completely ignoring Robbie, who also gets made fun of and used by Trina on a regular basis.

It you don’t understand writing and characterisation, then please refrain from criticising shows. You have absolutely no clue what you’re talking about. You’re also claiming some very important things like “people believe Daniella was offered the role of Tori but she declined it” without ANY proof whatsoever. And that’s just one of the many, many unfounded claims in this video. You are just the worst kind of YouTuber there is.
