#QuietOnSet pulls back the curtain on an empire, built by creator Dan Schneider, that had an undeniable grip on popular culture. Series such as All That and The Amanda Show, among others, were obsessively consumed by children across the country and defined comedy for a generation. But behind the upbeat onscreen presence on these shows with questionable jokes and over-the-top sketches, QUIET ON SET reveals an insidious environment rife with allegations of abuse, sexism, racism, and inappropriate dynamics with its underage stars and crew.

QUIET ON SET: THE DARK SIDE OF KIDS TV will premiere across two nights on ID from 9PM-11PM ET/PT on Sunday, March 17 and Monday, March 18.

So kids and teens on Nickelodeon were trying to warn others while we were all still kids and teens. I can not imagine how scary it was on and off the sets. The people who are speaking now deserve so much respect.

The court documents show that the sexual abuse occured on or around December of 2001. This can only mean that the victim is someone from Season 7 of All That, or Season 3 of The Amanda Show.

I’ll be surprised if it’s not Amanda. I grew up watching her. And seeing old videos of her literally makes me feel like I’m mourning a family member because whatever happened destroyed her so badly she’s a shell of a person now. I hope if it is her, telling the story will heal her a little bit. I haven’t seen her smile in too long.

One thing cannot be denied about Dan - he made really great series that were part of my and our childhood.
But the truth must finally come to light, because it wasn't all rosy there.
I saw a lot of evidence about the station, but things were always quickly hushed up

Cannot wait to stream this on Max when it airs! Growing up in the 2000s, I'd watched a lot of Dan Schneider shows, and now I can't wait to not only hear the victims' stories but to hope that there will be justice for all of them and that Dan will be blacklisted from Hollywood and put behind bars.

NGL I feel like the underage male actor at the time that was abused by Brian peck was Drake Bell I checked what age he was around that time and what he was working on and in a recent interview he briefly mentioned something he went through in Hollywood as a child without saying exactly because he said he hasn't found the right time to talk about it and in general does not feel comfortable sharing yet..

Dan Schneider could have gone down in history as the Norman Lear or Chuck Lorre of kids TV, but now it looks like he may go down more like the Harvey Weinstein of kids TV.
