That is SO TRUE! Finally someone!
The majority of times, I am dressed nice. Suit, blazers, heels and boots etc. I get tons of compliments and sometimes I am not even trying. I would just throw the first few things on that are nice and it takes me like a minute to get dresses. A little effort can go a long way when a huge amount of people only wear sweats and nothing else.

I can definitely speak to the suits/respect thing. I wear jeans and a tee, and sure, most people aren't overtly rude. But I put on my suit, and I notice I get more "sir"s, cars stop faster for me when I need to cross the street, and people pay more attention when I speak. It's pleasant. I only wish I had more occasion to wear it.
