I've trained my dog Bella, she is so sweet and very smart.
She was abused to the point to where she didn't trust at all.
My room mate took her from her abuser and brought her to the house.
And I would just sit down in front of her kennel and I'd just run my finger up and down her nose and hand feed her, talk sweet to her.
Once she finally came out of her kennel after a week. My roommate tried calling her but she was unsure and nervous.
I told her, come!
And she jumped up in my lap and since then she was my dog.
I began socializing her with people and other different animals, I taught her obedience and confidence.
I eventually taught her hand signs with none vocalized commands.
She will walk with me without a leash right by my side.
Bella is a cattahoula and is 7 years old.

I've trained other dogs like this too for friends and family.
So yeah Cesar Millan isn't the only dog whisperer.
There are people like cesar, myself and others who are just really good at reading dogs and their body language.

Dogs are extremely
civilized .They live in a world without war or money but know the meaning of civilization. Perhaps better than we do. We think we are civilized but create wars while one being stands beside us, watching, giving unconditional love while maintaining a very intracate social system based on the betterment of life. It is not absurd that the advancement of humanity be attributed to a “common animal”. The human race may owe its advancements to its spirit guides who brought the ideal of compassion that made us human. It is not unfathomanable that a domesticated canine ran to an injured enemy and made a plead for their lives based on what was right. Completely blowing our minds and waking us to the concept of compassion. Especially since dogs do this everyday now… we see this every day, but assume it’s our doing. Even despite the fact that “humans” have showed an inexorable habit of being completely “heartless” without remorse. Yet every dog displays consideration, without direction. If left on their own without appropriation, the dog will always lean towards what is just the “owner” of said, dog is faced with a decision; be compassionate or be abandoned

Cesar's work is terrific. Still, the dude broke into the country. That's a felony. I think he ought to serve time or somehow make that right. Sorry, dude, but that little bit of your history can't be overlooked. You need to atone, if you haven't already.
