Today I want to give you an inside look into my live show, and how I worked to teach Tony the dog the right way to meet other people!

In this live dog demo, Cesar Millan works with Tony, an overly excited dog who jumps and pulls on the leash when he meets new people. Using Tony's nose and sense of smell, Cesar works to teach Tony calm energy and the right behavior!

Did you know how important a dog's nose is to its learning? How do you keep your dog's nose engaged?

I've watched most of Cesar Millan's shows on TV and feel that animal rights activists need to learn about what he actually did in all those shows. Each show was a milestone in the fight for animal rights, as he created balanced, happy behavior in dog after dog after dog using principles drawn from meditation and a deep understanding of dog psychology and behavior.

He's my mentor. I rehabilitated a rescue dog who had extremely bad fear aggression. I was told she couldn't be helped. I've had professional dog trainers ask me how I did it. She is calm loving and friendly and nearly 11 years old now. Thank you Cesar.

Is it just me or is Casar getting better looking as he ages? I watch him for his great advice but it's really enjoyable too.

Okay, but how does one teach ME to remain calm when I see a dog?!

Edit: please understand that this was a joke. Im not sure why everyone took this seriously. I just love dogs very much and they make me happy lol.

Three dogs later, and I can say with resolve. This man knows his stuff. Pay attention, and calm down.

Thank u so much for these short clips. We just got a new dog. She's 14 months old & has some bad habits; jumping, not listening & pulling. You've addressed all 3 of these. I can't believe the difference in Sassy's behavior since I watched & applied your lessons. Sir, you are my hero. Thank you for teaching me!!

Mate, from the UK and from the heart; you've had so much unjustified negative press over the years it's saddening. People love to hate. That's the reality. You are and always will be a gentleman and a "legend". Keep doing what you do because the non-haters appreciate genius. Moreover they love genius ideas and techniques "explained" in simple terms. Keep doing what you do and keep safe.

Wow! I used to watch Cesar every Saturday morning on tv and then a local St. Louis station decided to carry some other show. I’ve read two of his books and have attempted to follow his training methods every time I’m around a strange dog. My own dog is a much calmer and happier dog because of Cesar’s training advice. I am so excited to see Cesar on YouTube!
