Having fine and curly hair has to be a curse. It's so difficult to style curly hair already but when it's curly AND fine, it feels like an uphill battle when you're trying to make it look good.

theres a massive problem i dont see mentioned alot which makes fine hair a complete deal breaker especially as someone who has it. no amount of product and i mean that no amount of product is going to keep a style for longer than 20 minutes. its so easilly influenced by even a slight breeze that even walking too fast will completely tear through even the toughest of hair sprays or gels. u can “style it easier” sure, but it’s superficial if it doesnt have any staying power theres a reason we scult with rocks and minerals instead of bubbles. ill always wish i had thicker hair. id rather deal with a sweaty scalp than an inability to genuinely style

I grew out my thin hair and it's nearly impossible to do amything with. I end up throwing a hat on when I go out but I got sick of just getting the same haircut for 30 years

Life really be giving us all what we don’t want. People with thin, wavy hair don’t like it, but people with thick straight hair such as myself we don’t like it either

Thicker is better. Always. I have either fine hair, but a lot of it, or thick strands and not as much hair as I like.

Used a wave product on my wet fine-hair. Let it dry and set, then locked it in with Tidal Wave. Great product and has a fragrance like the beach. Love it.

My hair is exactly like the dark-haired fringe “emo-cut” mannequin you showed when left to its own devices. Lots of density, but very fine individual hairs. On the one had I wish I could do that effortlessly voluminous and texturized look that thick-haired folks seem to achieve with ease. But I have found the modern slicked-back style (grown out top and sides styled to the back but with a matte-finish product) to work quite well with my hair type because it lays down and flows nicely without “poofing” out at the sides. Might be something to consider for some of you who have faced similar struggles.

I have fine hair that's kind of thin but it's also very full and straight but it falls flat without any product. It pretty much sticks straight out until it gets over an inch long. What I find difficult when using products that have a high hold when they say to use on dry hair my hair will literally rip out if I don't use it when it's a little bit damp. So to anyone that thinks they're thick hair is a curse at least you can put product in it when it's dry and not worry about half of it ripping out. Mine is like the second blue hair mannequin.

Mine tends to be fine and curly/wavy. I was already worried that I was going bald when I found out that you can actually see my scalp up front (Haven't noticed it until a family member mentioned it). Glad to hear that it's normal with fine hair and doesn't correlate with baldness.

That fine hair on the left is 10x thicker than my hair

I hate my fine hair. I look bald half the time. The only saving grace is that it's textured so it does have some volume.

I used to struggle so much with my thick, sometimes coarse hair. Those styling products at the barbers never worked haha. It just lived a life of its own! But now that my friends are balding, I'm really grateful for a full head. And I can do a lot with it. The hair also stays in shape when it dries, so I can get pretty neat waves that look like someone styled them, and it lasts for days!

My hair is almost exactly like that side swept mannequin you have. My hair is really fine and straight but SUPER dense. I find I can make my hair do most things I want but it might take more work to get it there than it would for someone with more natural texture thickness

My hair is thick and coarse. Its a bitch to style at any length. It does what it wants, not what I want. Right now I'm just growing it out as long as I can to see if that's better

I have thin hair and when I was 10 years old everybody was telling I'm getting bold and now I'm 23 and still the same shit it's kinda tiring to explain to them that I'm not balding so now run with it and say yes I'm balding lol

I have very thick hair, which after washing with shampoo it can be very splissy. I use Keratin sprays or sometimes fix it with clays and that works for me really. Right now I have short sides with longer top layer of hair. I wanna do a middle-parting as soon if my hair grew out a bit.

mine is thick and wavy, its not too thick to where its hard to do stuff with, real easy to manage, and honestly just looks great! have no problems what so ever with it

My barber/hairstylist always tell me i have super thick hair. Its been hard to manage. products dry up instantly and it takes the entire day/night to dry after a shower. And when im out of the shower and let it dry a bit it looks really nice but then when i wake up its like a one massive fluffy hair and really hard to manage and just looks unappealing.

I just wish I don't need to wear so much styling products to make my hair look more full. It's also harder to hold it up and eventually it will fall flat hours later after styling :(

I think I've got the thinnest hair on earth, I've never seen someone as thin hair as mine. It's thinner than spider web, so thin it's barely visible with naked eyes 😔.And always lays flat.
