I’m gonna say my top 3 Spyderco knives. Military 2 crucarta, Stretch 2 XL g10 Cruwear and the Native Chief. Just my top 3. Manix 2 g10 is close.

Congratulations on trying tip down !!
In my opinion/experience tip down is best for carrying above the waist for example on body armour/chest rig etc. In your jeans pocket tip up is probably best but tip down will work just as well. Carry ‘your ‘ knife how ‘you’ want to !!!
Personally I think it’s a fashion trend fed by tacticool influencers who are in LaLa Land who only need a Swiss Army Knife if they’re honest with themselves. Just my personal opinion.

The Spyderco Phoenix by the late Howard Viele actually contains a variant of the bearing lock that's seen on the Manix 2. Very interesting little knife.

Ive only ever gotten a Dragonfly for a girl (in the sick etched rainbow swamp) and my Native 5 in Ctuwear and the novelty "smoothed" g10. The other ones I wanted was a Chapparal, a Lil Native and that one big expensive designer one from year ago with the kinda butter belly

GP knives might still have the LW Manix 2 in Rex 45 for under $130. Almost dyed it, but I got used to the white scales pretty quick.

You can't change scales on the CruCarta's, they have different liners than the straight up PM2

None in Magnacut?... Genuinely wondering why?

VG-10 is not equivalent to S30V and the weight of the Delica is not 4.23oz 😂

Native 5 is the most optimal Spyderco knife. Ergonomically, aesthetically and it has the only kind of lock that makes sense with the giant finger choil. "Finger safe" locks make less sense with a choil that large.
