“As long as it’s good for me, it’s good.” What a great mantra.

I went to the thrift store and bought a bunch of flat sheets for 99 cents to practice on!
I found a couple really cute cotton Polly blends that I'm going to save until I get better and maybe use for an actual dress or even a circle skirt! LOL!

I live in the PNW and that poncho was SO cute! I'd love to make it for those days that are too warm for a jacket, but too cold to go out in just a blouse.

This is the video Ive been looking for!!! The very first thing is exactly what I’ve been wanting to wear and to realise I can just make it!!??
I have never felt confident worh a sewing machine and never really made anything. I have just acquired 2 antique singer machines and am excited to sew something proper with them!! I haven’t even watched the rest of your video yet I just needed to share this 😅💙

Great job sew sis! I've tried to make circle skirts in the past, and they always turned out a bit wonky. The By Hand London tool definitely helps with precision cutting. I think I will give it another go!

I love your videos! I was a beginner for a long time cause I used to be hard on myself! When I got more into the progress aspect I had more fun and got better fast! Palazzo is palace in Italian and it‘s pronounced pa! La! Zoh! Like you would say it if you were showing guests around your marble palace wearing your Gucci palazzo pants! ❤️

4:20 As an Italian I'd say "pah-lah-tso" pants ( zz -> think how you'd say pizza) but like "pah-lah-zo" would surely work too
