Holly benefitted greatly from her association to him. She must have known about the affair with the runner, everybody else seemed to. He was found out, she steps away because ig doesn't serve her career to support him. Now we know who both of them really was and Holly was not the slightest better than Phil.

Holly continues to be unfairly villainized in this whole thing and I just don't get it. The only person who Brough Phil down is Phil himself but of course, a woman must always be blamed and dragged down in the process. People love to say "oh she didn't support him blah blah" but why should she? Just because you're friends it doesn't mean that you blindly support the actions of the other, especially those like Philip's. I don't blame Holly one bit for not standing by him. Also people seem to forget that as a friend, she must have felt hurt and betrayed by his lies....was she not supposed to have feelings? The media and public just wanted a reason to hate Holly which is so weird considering they spent years absolutely devouring her.
