‘Shaken, let down’: Phillip Schofield slammed by This Morning host Holly Willoughby

This Morning co-host Holly Willoughby says she has felt “shaken, troubled and let down” after her former colleague Phillip Schofield admitted to having an affair with a younger colleague, according to Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan.

“You, me and all of us at This Morning gave our love and support to someone who was not telling the truth,” Ms Willoughby said on This Morning.

They used to be the popcorn Tv couple. He's done the wrong thing, but he's no Fred West, and it wouldn't be right if he jumped off a bridge because of this.

I'm sorry I am not very informed about this but is he just cancelled for an affair? I read that the guy was 20 years old when the affair started (Leo DiCaprio is dating a 19yo and nobody is shocked or says anything about it). Is it because he is married and people are upset by that?. If I am missing some information please fill in the gaps but an infidelity doesn't really seem like a good reason to drive someone to suicide... (Or maybe I have lived too long in France and it just isn't a big deal and its a personal matter)
