Toyota's GR lineup has become what I always hoped Mazdaspeed would be. Toyota has done an incredible job at bringing enthusiast cars back in multiple formats and I love it.

For people that want one of these: BE PATIENT. Let the hype die down for 2 years and I guarantee you’ll be able to get one without paying crazy mark ups or fighting other buyers to get one.

With how popular the GR-4 is going to be, Toyota will probably be producing it for the next 5 years (or at least until the Corolla gets a new generation) and even THEN, in a lot of their advertising they’re calling this the “first GR Corolla” which alludes to it potentially getting a 2nd generation.

You might miss out on the circuit edition but there’s going to be a ton of different special models coming out, plus you can basically spec out a base model to be a circuit edition (minus the forged carbon roof, and seats, hood, and spoiler) but also keep in mind, the after market for these things are going to be nuts, so I’m sure you’ll be able to find a “circuit edition” inspired hood and spoiler.

Plus, this isn’t a guarantee, but maybe other brands will introduce some competitive hot hatches back into their line up to steal some of that GR hype now that they see there’s a huge market for them.

Don’t lose hope! If you want it, go for it! All it takes is a time and a little patience :)

When you fight Rennala on the second phase just run straight up to her right away and her giant moon beam will go straight over you and give some time to just attack. Keep running at her even when her summon are out and she's much easier. If only getting a GR Corolla was as easy as an Elden Ring

The GR corolla has been my dream car from a kid and I never knew it. I always loved the the sti hatchback but wanted it made by Toyota and AWD. Was checking out the corolla and was highly disappointed by front wheel drive and the hp. Then the next day the GR corolla was announced. Hopefully can get my hands on one one day!

hatch back cars are great. when I was doing roofing I could fit two cans of tar a ladder 8 bundles of shingles, a BMX bike and a partner all stuffed in. However if I owned this I wouldn't treat it like that. This thing is awesome.

Curious if anyone is willing to settle for the “core” after seeing the circuit edition. It’s circuit edition or no deal for me, and with the crazy demand and ADMs this car will have, I doubt I can get one😞

I think this car is so hyped and its gonna sell so well because other than the golf which is not looking that good and it good really common car world wide... there is quite a long time that we don't see a really, really hot hatch like this that probably gonna have giant aftermarket support and... probably gonna have one of the best gas mile and fun nowdays specially with this 3 - 4 dollar gas prices in use and all that combined with the good reliability that toyota is know for... I DEFINITELY GONNA BUY ONE OF THEM

So only one thing about this that may be incorrect. The NASA membership is NOT guaranteed. My dealer screwed me out of this because they had no idea it was a thing. Apparently it's regional? Either way I was hella disappointed to find out that toyota can't help and the dealer was useless so with my new GR86 I gotta buy my own membership and buy a class if I want to expirement with it on the track. It's a really sorry way to do business by toyota to have it announced that it comes with every GR vehicle and then act like they don't know anything about it or can't fix it.

i just got the GR86 last wednesday and mannnn is it so much fun to drive! The GR Corolla will undoubtedly be an amazing hatchback!

I have been daily driving a GR86 for a year and a half now. By the end of this year, begin of the next. I will have a GR Corolla. Either a core with a perf package, or a Circuit. I'm looking into fitment down, but not much is out there. Fortunately, the region I am in has been killing it. The dealership I am working with has a Morizo Edition #153 sitting on the showroom floor. It's not for sale though. I'm optimistic about acquiring a circuit.

I was hella excited when I heard Toyota was coming out with the GR Corolla and even more excited when the pictures were released. What I'm not excited for is seeing how much the dealership are going to mark it up. I'm guessing around $45k 😱💔☠️
